Rooms in Space

Students in 6th grade art created rooms in one point perspective and collages items into them to make them Surreal like those of artist Rene Magritte.

Flower Enlargement Paintings

Students in 7/8 art picked a flower, plant, or skull and sketched an enlarged version of it. They transferred it to watercolor paper and painted it realistically. These paintings were inspired by the artist Georgia O'Keeffe.

Surreal Rooms

These rooms were created using one point perspective and inspired by the
work of Rene Magritte. He was a Surrealist and created dreamlike room paintings. The 7/8 art classes enjoyed adding collage to their work.
